Open 9 May to 13 October at 3:00 pm.
The foundation announces project grants for early career researchers, i.e. up to ten years after PhD, in law. With this call we want to support researchers with innovative ideas, a proven scientific track record and high ambitions to develop their research. We welcome applications both from individuals and groups of up to four researchers. Given that the project has a clear focus on a research question in law we also welcome interdisciplinary applications and groups.
To support novel research of the highest quality by providing substantial funding for projects addressing research questions in law.
The application portal opens on 9th May and closes on 13th October at 15:00.
Applications are submitted through our online platform SBS. Login here. Detailed instructions for how to write and submit the application are found here. SBS requires a Swedish Bank-ID to login in. If you do not have this, you need to contact us at least two weeks ahead of the deadline.
Note that we work with both national and international reviewers and thus all applications must be written in English.
We welcome applications, and participation in projects, from researchers that are not yet established in Sweden. In such cases, the researcher must be employed at a Swedish university by the start of the grant period. Since the application must be signed by the Head of Department the necessary arrangements with the host institution in Sweden needs to be made well in advance.
* This period may me extended by a maximum of two years to allow for parental leave, long-term illness, care of a close family member or clinical work (only applicable for researchers in medicine).
